My first Etsy Treasury, and a Shameless Plug
So after living at home for a number of months and being a tireless little worker bee for my mom’s business for the past nine or so (and loving just about every minute of it), I’ve recently relocated and have found my creative side somewhat lacking. As much as I love picking up little craft projects here and there, I found that having one steady, ongoing outlet for my creativity for the better part of a year really did me right. It reminded me that I have to keep the right side of my brain moving all the time, otherwise it gets surly and frustrated. And nobody wants that. Seriously, it goes on these binges and eats frosting by the tubful. It can get messy.
One little thing I did last week that felt quasi-creative was creating my first Etsy treasury. And because I love my momma and everything she creates, I included her adorable puppet Nelly, made by hand from 100% recycled wool. Everything she makes is made with so much love and care. If you’re looking for a gift for a little one (or really anyone), I highly recommend bypassing a Made In China toy and picking up one of these.
